जाति-धर्म के तोड़ता बंधन, फिर भी सबको है भाता। कांटे भी खिलते फूलों से, जब रक्षाबंधन है आता।। प्राणवायु नहीं दिखती फिर भी, जीवन उसी से है चलता। बहन हो कितने दूर भी, फिर भी राज उसी का है चलता।। जंजीरें भी जकड़ न पाएं, मन इतना चंचल होता। पल में अवनि, पल में अंबर, पल में सागर में खोता।। इतने चंचल मन को बांधा, इक रेशम के धागे ने, हंसते-हंसते खुद बंध जाना, सबके मन को है भाता। कांटे भी खिलते फूलों से, जब रक्षाबंधन है आता।
