The festive season brings many gifts for all, and the UP government also decided to shower its female citizens with the gift of free bus travel on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. This facility is provided as the Raksha Bandhan gift by the state government to the state women and is valid for two days. From midnight of 10th August to midnight of 12th august, the facility will be provided all across the state of Utter Pradesh by the state busses.
The facility is provided for full 48 hours and will be provided by the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. The busses will be made available for women and will have national flags fitted on them as a sign of their service, said a BJP spokesperson on Friday, 5th August 2022.
