On 10th August, Thursday, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the financial aid given to women under the Ladli Bahna Yojana will be increased from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 3,000 with periodic hikes of Rs. 250 over time. The CM has not revealed the deadline for the hikes. The financial aid to women under the Ladli Bahna Yojana was launched this year in March.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan made the announcement at an event in Rewa when he transferred Rs. 1,209 crore to the 1.25 crore women eligible under the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
MP CM also announced that he will organize an event to have a dialogue with women and give them Raksha Bandhan gifts on the 27th of August.
